Cincinnati-based multihyphenate artist and seller of literary curiosities Kate Berwanger creates her own postcards too, and the results are moody, artistic, and full of feminine power.
These analog collages blend found imagery with a strong sense of surrealism to create designs that are equal parts bold, colorful, and mystical. The backs are printed in black ink on weathered white 130lb paper and feature the publisher’s website; “please kindly deliver to” followed by four address lines; and collaged space for a stamp.
